Winter Fun

Winter is officially here. It now takes us twice as long to get ready to go anywhere, due to all of the layers we must put on. But, it certainly hasn't stopped us from going outside.

We've been busy enjoying the Christmas season, which is my most favorite time of year. We had "breakfast with Santa" in the park. Which meant that the kids ate sugar cookies, made Christmas ornaments and played on the playground, while watching the "unlucky" few get their pictures made with Santa. I say unlucky, because the verdict is still out on Santa Claus. Last year, was not Santa's year, in Finn's opinion. He was terrified of him and wouldn't have anything to do with him. This year, I would say he has mild interest. He's interested in Santa bringing him presents, but not initiating contact with the big man himself. Which is why Santa doesn't appear in any of our pictures below.

He only wears one glove at a time, so he can play

Standing in line to see Santa (we never made it to the front)
The boys were happy to just wave at him from afar
