Finn hit the 8th month mark last week--August 21 to be exact. We decided to celebrate the occasion and give him his own mini-cupcake. I know, in the whole scheme of things, 8 months isn't exactly a major milestone. But in a way, it kind of was a big deal, because we have survived the past 8 months without doing major damage to each other, and THAT is an accomplishment.
In all honesty, we just wanted an excuse to give him mass quantities of sugar to see if his head would spin around like in the movies. It did not. However, the birth-month celebration did not end as well as we had hoped, as you will see. Regardless, it was really funny watching his reaction.
