Four Years and Counting

Mark and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary by spending a long weekend in Charleston, SC. It was our first time going back since we left in 2004 and our first time leaving Finn. We had a blast. We spent the day on the beach at Sullivan's island and then had dinner at Cypress. We watched the fireworks on Patriots Point from the harbor. We had exceptionally good seats (but that's what happens when you get there 2 hours in advance, sorry Mark!). We did some shopping on King street, spent an afternoon on Folly beach and drove around reminiscing. We ran into our friends Sara and Jonathan and their kids, Jett and Mac. We also had dinner at McCradys (scene of the crime, also known as our first date).

Finn spent the weekend with his Mimi and Bop in Sumter. He had a blast going swimming, taking walks and visiting with his cousins, Luke and Mary Daniel. They took such good care of him that he didn't miss his mom and dad at all (well, maybe a little).
