We've had a busy couple of months and in the interest of time I thought I would give you a quick overview of what Finn's been up to. It's hard to believe that it is already May. Because May brings the end of school and of course, summer! Although, it certainly doesn't feel like summer is on its way--I'm wearing pants and long sleeves as I type this. Any who, on with the show. Here are a few of the things I managed to get pictures of.
Army birthday party celebrating Finn's buddy, Zack . . . what could be better, dirt, weapons, camouflage and cake!
Watching Mary Daniel's softball game
St. Patty's Day-celebration and treasure hunt
First t-ball practice
Batter Up: Finn is playing t-ball for the first time this year and is really enjoying himself. The practices are fun to watch but the games are even better. This deserves its own post, which I will get around to doing one of these days
Class Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg hunt at IOP--you've never seen so many kids or eggs in one place!
Finn and Easton showing off their Easter loot
Snowcones are the best, even when it's cold outside
Our other Easter bunny
For spring break this year, we spent a few days in Atlanta with our friends the Benichs and then hit the aquarium and made Finn's first trip to the Varsity.
We made it out to Carrollton to visit with family and Uncle Dennis was kind enough to take Finn for a ride/drive on his tractor. Now he knows his tractor has a horn that is super loud, thanks Finn.
He even let him drive it and pick stuff up. Finn got to gather eggs from the hen house and spent at least an hour cruising on the golf cart with Katie Grace. Man, we love country life! Thank you to Uncle Dennis and Aunt Brenda for putting us up and especially Katie Grace for playing legos with Finn. He sure had a great time.
We also had a great visit with Papa and Gigi. Finn showed them pictures from his trip and played many rounds of heads or tails with Papa.
The Benich Bunch paid us a visit and since the weather cooperated, we got to spend some time on the beach. These two are really growing up!
After a bit of a wild pregnancy, my friend Marla had her sweet baby boy, Knox. Although he came three weeks early, mama and baby were happy and healthy!
