On the Saturday before Christmas we had a small birthday party for our BIG three-year old! Because it's winter and we live in the city, we rented the rec room at a local community center and invited our nearest and dearest to help us celebrate the birthday boy. Finn wanted a fire truck themed party . . . what a surprise! I had hoped to have a fire truck and a few firemen make a surprise appearance but there must have been lots of fires to put out because they were a no show. But, we had the next best thing . . . a bounce castle and slide. I think the kids had lots of fun running around and eating lots of sugar and hopefully the adults did as well. I know Finn loved having his friends help him celebrate his birthday. Here are a few pictures from the big day.
