The 3 and 4 year old classes at Finn's school took a field trip to the Boone Hall pumpkin patch. The weather was beautiful and the kiddos had a blast. They even managed to sneak in a quick educational program about the lifecycle of a pumpkin. They took a hayride, went pumpkin-picking and ran around like wild men. Fun was had by all!
Getting ready for the "spooky" hayride

Finn and his best buddy, Zack

Making scary monster faces

Actually listening to the pumpkin program

Trouble times three

Finn finds the perfect pumkin

Of course, it's really big

Ugh . . . he did it!

Having fun on the tractor

The bouncy pillow . . . the boys spend most of the morning jumping on this, then running/rolling/sliding/flipping down it

Sporting his 'sand-stache': A hot, sweaty, sticky, sandy mess (more on the head wound later)

Seriously, Finn's teachers told me I could just take him home and bathe
him because he was so filthy instead of coming to have lunch at school. A dirty boy is usually a happy boy!
