Christmas morning with a two year old . . .it doesn't get much better than that. I was expecting a blow-out and I wasn't disappointed. Neither was Finn. His big presents from "Santa" and I say that loosely because Santa wasn't too popular at our house this year, were a kitchen and a tricycle. I knew the kitchen would be a hit because he is big into pretending and doing everything Mark and I do, and I also thought the tricycle would be a favorite, but I was a little off on that one and you will notice there is not a single picture of the tricycle. That's because he didn't give it a second look. I also thought he would love unwrapping presents, but he didn't, and Mark ended up doing most of the unwrapping. We missed seeing our families this Christmas and I know they missed seeing Finn. Everyone was so generous and we are so thankful for our wonderful families.
Yes, that is what you think it is and yes, I went there. I wrapped up a potty for Finn to open on Christmas. I thought it would make the potty fun and exciting . . . call me crazy, but he sure does seem to be enjoying it right now. A good start to potty training . . .

He's giving me that "mom, I need my privacy look" already!

Wade and Finn have the same toilet!!! They are doomed to have issues when they grow up.
